WHAT IS
GLARE?

Glare is a source of light that hampers your vision by increasing background illumination and reducing contrast. This might be daylight, headlights from oncoming traffic while driving at night – a particular problem for motorists wearing glasses – or a computer monitor. Many people suffer from headaches or eyestrain as a result of glare.

REDUCE THE
AFFECTS OF GLARE

Driving at night

  • Clean your windscreen and wiper blades
  • Adjusting your mirrors and do not look directly at oncoming headlights

Working at your computer

  • Keep your monitor away from the window, and keep it clean.
  • Don't look directly at your computer in bright sunlight
